...er to the ordination on Saturday 14 February 2015 at 11am, to the Grand Hall, 9 Green Street, Kilmarnock, KA1 3BN The hall will be open from 10am and the Mass of ordination will begin at 11am. The Grand Hall has a capacity of 950, while overspill accommodation will be provided in the nearby Kay Park Church (350) together with live audio & video relays of the ceremony. The ordination will be streamed live online and archived so it can be watched later. ...   The Episcopal ordination of Monsignor Brian McGee as the new Bishop of Argyll and the Isles will take place at St. Columba’s Cathedral in Oban on Thursday 18 February at 7.00pm.    Speaking ahead of his Episcopal ordination Bishop Elect-McGee said; "I am very much looking forward to my ordination as Bishop of Argyll. ...ding this ordination ceremony.   I ’d like to start by thanking Cardinal Harvey for coming from Rome.   Cardinal Harvey was my first boss when I went to the Secretariat of State, and he used to tell me of his time in Edinburgh as a deacon - and so it was an easy step for me to ask him to come back to be the principal consecrator at my ordination today, and I know he s happy to be here.   I also thank Cardinal Murphy O ’Connor and Cardinal Brady for their presence, as well as the Bishops from both north and south of the border here today.   It is avery touching gesture, and all of us in the Archdiocese appreciate it very much.  I' ’d also like to than...
