At their meeting in Scotus College, Glasgow, yesterday, the Bishops of Scotland unanimously elected Archbishop Keith O'Brien as President of the Bishops' Conference, with Archbishop Mario Conti as Vice President and Bishop Maurice Taylor as Episcopal Secretary.  

Speaking after the meeting, Archbishop O'Brien said: "I am delighted to be able to serve the Bishops' Conference and will do so to the best of my ability."
