Archbishop Keith Patrick O'Brien, Acting President of the  Bishops'  Conference of Scotland has written a letter of condolence to the Queen on the death of her sister, Princess Margaret.  

He remembered in particular the celebrations in Scotland on the occasion of the  900th  Anniversary of the death of Queen Margaret, queen and patroness of Scotland in 1993.  

On that occasion Princess Margaret hosted a reception at Edinburgh Castle attended by representatives of various churches, including three Hungarian bishops, she later visited St. Margaret's Catholic Church inDunfermline.  

Archbishop O'Brien added; "she will be remembered in our prayers".
