Archbishop Keith Patrick O'Brien, today (Friday 21 September) attended a prayer service at the Edinburgh Central Mosque, Potterow at 5.15pm in a gesture of interfaith solidarity with the Islamic community in Scotland.  

The service was also attended by Rev John Miller (Church of Scotland,Moderator) and Rev Bruce Cameron (Episcopal Primus),Following the service, Archbishop O'Brien said: "We appeal to Scotland ¹s Christians to show solidarity with our Muslim brothers and sisters, who may be the target of hate crimes and call on politicians of all parties and all people of good will to work for tolerance and understanding throughout our country."
