STATEMENT FROM BISHOP VINCENT LOGAN, BISHOP OF DUNKELD, ON THE FIRE AT ST.SERF S PARISH HOUSE, HIGHVALLEYFIELD, FIFE.  

It has been with great sadness that I learned today of the fire which last night destroyed the Parish House of St. Serf s in Highvalleyfield. Thankfully there was no loss of life or injury as the house was unoccupied at the time. The cause of the fire is not known and the Diocese will assist both the Police and Fire Service with any investigations they may conduct.  

In the meantime the parishioners of St. Serf s will continue to be served by Fr. Steven Mullholland who will celebrate Mass as normal in the church which was not affected by the fire.
